Low FPS
I started playing on Large Map. After reaching 200+ inhabitants, the FPS dropped to 20-23 at the minimum graphics settings.
My PC:
Video card - GTX 1060.
CPU - Intel core i5-6400.
16 gigabytes RAM.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

Were you using mods?
i am using the CC mod and have the same problem with I7 6700 and GTX1070.

but its okay, its not looking "laggy"
M8 i have about 96 mods altogether in which 95 as a bundle (megamod) i have i3 @2.4GHz, Intel 4000, 12 GB ram. it seems to be running fine as long as I don't zoom out al lthe way.

no one said its not running well, but the FPS drop after 200+ people is real ;)

if this game would be an shooter i would be doomed

its not lagging, its only FPS drop
misunderstood sry xD
I'm surprised that a 1060 or 1070 would have FPS drop with only 200 Bannies. I've only ever had a 750ti and 950 and not noticed issues until past 500 or so. I've also noticed that the more trading posts (thus, the more merchants) the worse it gets. The main thing I notice with a larger number of mods is longer load times, but that could be a lack of careful observation on my part. I'm no modder (tried it o nce and gave up), but I have read many modders talking about the struggle to reduce polygons, so it may be that some non-optimized mods require more from any graphics card.
It's more of a processor issue than a graphic processor thing in most cases as Banished runs on only 1 core, and there's no way to change that. The real graphical slowdown tends to come from smoke (no smoke mods can help) and trees overgrowing in some areas, as each tree has its animations and shadow effects. Moving the camera over old forests can be a pain. Clear-cutting large areas helps a fair bit, as will turning down shadow effects.

The AI also tends to slow down as things go on, as old cached calculations clutter it. If you try to play at high game speed, you get to see what looks like a FPS drop but is actually caused by the fact your computer struggles to handle everything about your people (needs, job shuffling, pathing), all the trees (calculations for seedling or food/herb spawns, another reason to clearcut some large areas), building smoke, random event chances, etc etc.

In general, entirely restarting Banished every couple of hours (or more if you play at very high speed) will help, as will turning down game speed, as it gives your computer more time to handle the calculations (in some cases it'll prevent the random complete mess of people stopping to work and just standing there doing absolutely nothing, not even officially "iddling".)
