Bullseye relic is actually a curse
This is really a curse not a relic! "Dice placed on the centre slots recieve x2 their value. Dice placed on the corner slots recieve x0.5 to their value."

The "centre" are actually horizontal centre. Not the actual centre of the board. That would be the two middle positioned vertically. Also, the "corners" are not the corners at all. It is ALL the squares around the outside! So, this relic is actually a curse! I can only really use two out of the ten squares!

Agreed. I'm pretty sure a "corner" doesn't even exist in this layout. Maybe inner and outer is better terminology, and they should be visually distinctive.

I'm enjoying the game, but I really hope the main game gets some QoL improvements. Is the point of the prologue for feedback to the devs or are we past that point already?
The Bullseye Relic is by far the most broken standalone Relic in the game if you know how to use it correctly.
Boost Dice aren't affected by the Penalty or the Boost of Bullseye, and Flash Dice also help you get around the restriction of only being able to effectively use 2 Squares

Like Migan said that relic is insane with Flash dice. Combo that with terrain dice and you start to really pop off. You can also stack terrain dice to increase the tile modifier value.
It's definitely situationally useful. That said, the description of the item should definitely be changed/updated, because it is misleading. If it had used the terms inner/outer or center/edge or something it would be clear enough, but corner is not helpful.

My first time grabbing it murdered a run as well because I was not prepared to lose 8 spaces with the build I had at the time. I don't have a problem with the relic itself, just the description needs to be more clear.

I like this suggestion. I think your term is more accurate.

Bullseye has some downsides, but it is one of the few multiplier opportunities. Try pairing it with some terrain or prism, or relics like Mark of the Chosen. It can lead to very overpowered situations. The boss is the only downside (because exposed points are more likely to be on the edge)
Bullseye is absolutely busted with a terrain dice. Place it in either of the two center slots
it is really busted in endless if you have chosen one, yo-yo and some flash terrain dice and you are now dishing out triple digit damage a die.
This is actually very broken. Mark of the Chosen One will multiply dice BASE damage. Bullseye is straight 2x (after boost/terrain/etc.)

I am at floor 204 in endless with that combo. Well actually at this point i have all relics in the demo but i destroyed the boss at floor 20 with that combo and then went endless and just stomp everything.

Yeah i broke the game with this relic along with mark of the chosen one and evergreen sap, flash terrain dice scales damage so fast and some flash block to set up for one shots with flash attack cards. honestly nuts
After trying several runs, and dying every time other than the first, I've realized the initial playthrough and boss win were mainly because of Bullseye + terrain dice.
