Portugal as faction

I am not sure if I am posting in the right place but I believe would quite nice for others factions to join such as Portugal. 30 000 of our troops fough side by side with french and english and other nations.

It'd be an interesting addition to complete a western front scenario. For the moment we stick with the main factions. This might change over time.

The only problem with putting Portugal, is the same that putting Russians brigades (Western Front) : they were supplied by the British (while the Russians were supplied by the French). That means same uniforms and same guns ... so there would only be a change in voices of course.

Portuguese have a "special" uniform it's can be cool but no verry representative of the ww1 cause it was a minority :\

There is a DLC for NTW, which involve Portugal (it's a small campaign that include only Spain and Portugal, with French and British).

Well,I still didn't see anyone doing anything about the FEB in WWII games either.
But I agree with doing PT for this game.

Has a portuguese history lover and a big fan of verdun since is little updates having my country in the squad system is a dream to come true,althought we must understand that we just got new squads a time ago and for now what we should worry about is for sure bug fixes.

Then we can start trowing all of our ideas to them,and who knows if portugal goes in we get out mauser-vergueiro ;)

Guys, Portugal fough ww1 In many scenarios. There was 30 000 soldiers in main front with france. and in Africa.

Portugal has unique uniforms dont worry. Portugal always was a good supplier in ww2 because our can food is one of the best :P atleast we good on food :P

I hope they make somekind of DLC and include some Portugueses solders, would be really nice :D

Just in case,if Portugal appears as faction, I may know a lot of friends who may buy this game Its not a heavy game and it looks really cool :D
I think I am going to start dreaming about it! I think I can run it on my surface 2 XD

Like "Foreign Squad" with 1 belgium, 1 portuguese, 1 russian and 1 tunisian or something like that, much easier !

It wouldnt a bad idea,but who doesnt like to see his own flag ,hum? :P

I am not sure how deeper the other countries you named were in war ,but I am sure that Portugal mobilezed about 200 000 trops all over the former colonies.

Russians were really involved in the war as they had their own front (eastern front) though which after 1917 with the revolution and german victories they left the war.

Yeh I belive so but Portugal aswell. Would be great to have all those who have participated. It doesnt give much work.Does it?
