This game still active?

I last played this game about 3 years ago. It always had a very small playerbase but it was a good and fun game. Usually the game was dead during the day on European servers, but during the evening there was atleast 1 full server and a second one that was either half full or full, so you had about 1-2 populated servers. Is the situation still the same? Was thinking about hoping back into the game after a long break.

Pretty much the same, although some of those players will have moved on to Isonzo instead

Thats great to hear, I've redownloaded the game and hoped back on and its exactly as I remember. This game never had a big playerbase, but its great that there's still ppl playing so its not just you and the bots, as its a great game. I've heard Isonzo is great aswell, might get it. Unfortunately however Tanneberg is apparently truly dead.

Surprisingly Tannenberg can have a fully lobby once in a while, but it's not everyday even at peak times. Isonzo has issues but all in all it makes a good addition to the series

And do you perhaps know what was the reason that Tannenberg just didn't hit the same way Verdun and Isonzo did?

Less linear gameplay, and Verdun was already what most people were after is my guess.
