Although we would have loved to release Verdun on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the same time, we regret to inform you that the Xbox One release is postponed. We hope to get the game as soon as possible on this great platform. Yet in order to deliver you a true trench warfare experience we need a little more time.
We take our releases seriously and for this reason made a difficult decision to delay the Xbox One release.

On positive note, we did dig up another great campaign at the release where prizes can be won.. AND…

I should have known. There has been NO news on this game at all whatsoever on Xbox. Not in the store for "upcoming releases", nothing at all.

Same for PS4 I believe. They have said it wont be pre-orderable on either console.

NO, i don't have a PS4. And i'm willing to bet they'll postpone that as well.

There has been zero news on this game. We had plans and ALL FOR THIS !!!!

WHEN will THIS game be coming out?? It's bad enough, the BF 1 Beta is coming out the SAME day.

And what gets me, is WHY is a Console Announcement issue being brought upon Steam,where NOBODY on Consoles goes (except for me, for which i'd have to be literally NUTS).

I don't know the name of everyone and don't tend to keep track of them. There's also people who have been suggesting it to their friends who might need to know. It's to help spread the news.

Most people aren't happy about it. I'm not and the Devs aren't. It's not something they want to do but they've had to delay it till it's sorted out.

Well it's a good point you brought up about the Forums. You don't really "need" a Forum, but there has to be a way for people to communicate the issues in one way or another, but that's another reason i wasn't at all surprised about this news.

There just doesn't seem to be any real preparations.

Postponed? Worse stuff happens everyday around the world. Better to postpone than release a product that does not meet the expectations of the client base.

I think it had to do with one map which was having performance issues.

Alright, well hell man they just put COD 2 Back Compatible, having major framerate issues. They're in the process of fixing it, but i wouldn't think they would postpone a whole game over it.

Anyway, other than this announcement, i haven't heard them say anything following up on it. I guess we'll wait. Meanwhile i'm stuck with the Battlefail 1 Beta. Can't get any worse.
