What I would like to see changed in Verdun (IMO)
This has been one of my favorite games as of recently, I love lots of aspects of the game. however there are some things I wish would be changed
1. Calling in artillery or gas. I wish you could call in artillery/gas using the map like you can command points. i feel it would be more realistic, and slightly easier to call in artillery.
2. it would be cool to have wind effect gas. dev's could add wind that changes over the course of the battle, and the wind can push the gas around depending on the direction.
3. I wish the game could be a little more team-reliant. I rarely hear anybody communicate in voice chat, and most people just play on their own. i do wish somehow, the game would require a bit more team based skill to win.
let me know what you think :)

4. Improve the MG laying process.
5. Program the bots to not stand in front of you and jog back and forth in front of your sites.
6. Allow ammunition restocks OR give pistols to the sniping loud-outs.

7. Get once and for all good uniforms with the map, desync it with the LVL of the squad ; it was a good idea but 99% of squads are below Lvl 10
Get rid of the point penalty for unbalance. When your team is winning and the other team quits part of the way through, you should not be penalized for being ahead! It is saying "you did well so your reward is less points!" So backwards!
Great suggestions on all fronts, Hera hoping the devs will listen and not leave this game as is.

Some maps have kind of strange spawn points, Picardie and Douamont for example. Also it would be refreshing if the map started in one of the other trenches instead of the first one.

railguns
recoil the gunner, because
when I see them it's run shoot and no problem
Game came out in 2015.

They are done updating this I reckon. Good game though.

Trashes all the other WW1 shooters by miles.

I mostly agree, purely for the diversity of factions.

That being said if Beyond the Wire ever gets bots I’ll probably switch to that.

This game needs updating purely because it’s the most marketable of the games as it contains the most well known battles. Outside of that I agree, not much reason to update at this stage.

Leveling squads with smoke seems like a punishment with longer cooldowns and smoke now being white phosphorous. Maybe lower cooldowns and make white phosphorous the starting smoke. Or get rid of it completely and just have smoke. I guess the reason for it is because recon plane has bomb so they felt like smoke had to have kills too.

IMO, all of the cooldowns in Frontlines are a tad too long (e.g. 6 minutes for Gas; 4-5 minutes for third tier Arty/WP; 3-4 minutes for second tier Arty/WP/Recon Bomb is way too much)

However FYI regarding Smoke vs WP specifically: there's now an actual difference between their cloud duration before fading. (45s for Smoke and 75s for WP) The fire/flames of the WP aren't that great but can still potentially kill wounded enemies
