Devs, have you considered also making WW2 games?
If yes, I hope one day I'll get to play as a US GI in France, Germany and Italy. I can already forsee the names of the games. Normany, Stalingrad and Cassino, for the main european fronts. :doistar:

Not really, the market is saturated with WW2 games and there's more coming out every year. With the style of the WW1 series it wouldn't really be able to offer much new in that market.

What about other fronts or battles that haven't been explored in videogame media before?

Not sure many of them will get much community attention and still runs in to the issues that the WW1 series style doesn't seem to translate well to WW2.

I would play a game about the korean war for example. I'm affraid other people wouldn't care as much though, and as a developer, I think you also fear that

I'm not one of the Developers but one of the community helpers. I think the Korean war gets over looked a lot which is probably why there hasn't been any coverage of it. Seems more Vietnam gets the spot light.

I think it would be more interesting to go older rather then newer, so maybe the like the Boer wars or the Crimean war. The end of the American Civil war looked a lot WW1 with trench warfare (Siege of Petersburg and Atlanta), mass charges (Cold Harbor) and even mine warfare with the Attack at Fort Hell.

In general the issue for earlier periods is the lack of weapon choices and the combat being a lot of mass ranks. So again not really much over lap for design style and that.

Thanks for the answers, Bishop!
I'm glad a developer has chosen to focus on WW1 as much as these guys have. Much under rated topic for games.
