Modding for Supporter Editions
I think adding in mod support for purchase with the supporter edition would be a great way for the franchise to gain some extra revenue to cover the costs for future games.

Would this be feasible or are there too many limitations with the engine?

This game has some amazing maps and the authenticity in this game is second to none. I would love for the community to be able to make maps so that every battle in the war could be covered. It would also give many players a reason to come back to the game or even pick it up for the first time, particularly since this game doesn’t have a huge player base.

Thoughts?

Wouldn't work with the engine and the way the game is created. Modding has been ruled out.

I think it's more an issue with the engine licence. I don't think the Devs have the rights to distribute elements of the development tools OR change the existing ones for distribution as mod tools. So they'd need to pay (and then make the changes) or the modders would need to buy their own licence.
Ah I see, nothing to be done. Thanks for the replies!
