Beard Manager
Realistically speaking, is there a chance to get us a Beard Manager into the game? We all know this game is almost perfection in the tiniest of aspects, but wouldn't it be freeing, managing your facial hair before getting into combat? Just like in real life, feel the power of wanting, fulfilling and rigorous decision.

I mean, I love every possible aspect of role-playing, but I can't really see how would this be beneficial in first-person perspective, where you can't see yourself, and others only care for any part of your body collider rather than your mustache

didnt think id see people ask for beard customisation before loadouts customisation.

to be fair the facial hair of most models could be a lot more period accurate...
I'd like my poilu to actually be poilu.

that was only a thing durign winter 1914/15 when the term poilu was originally coined. after the introduction of gas warfare and gas masks, french soldiers shaved just as much as anyone. the only facial hair you'd find post 1915 were mustaches, but again nothgin too fancy that would get in the way of gas protection.
Cool idea! but I'd figure it would be more with mustache/no mustache and sideburns? I rarely see full grown beards on archived photos and such or have I looked on the wrong part of the faces? xD

ngl, out of all the additions they could make to verdun, if the only thing the devs give us is a beard manager imma spam em with everything broken in the game
...unless they release that on april 1st, then it would be genius.

nah man, beards are totally important you see. it doesn't matter that many rifles still have the wrong bayonets. we only see the bayonet all the time since this is a FPS. no, we need more beards because we only see that right before the match or when we check our stats. you totally need to get your priorities straight...

or the balancing of squads/loadouts/weapons, the way you can spam crouching between each shot to be almost untouchable as the transition between poses is basically instantaneous, the too short trench capture time which sometimes lead to trenches being capped and recapped in less than 10 seconds, the blandness of some squads, the lack of maps (pretty sure tannen is gonna end up with more maps despite being out for less than a year) or some performance issues.

im not saying the game is bad, if it was i wouldnt be here. just, out of all the things that could be added to it, why a beard manager?
For the British, Australians and Canadians it's easy.

No beards.

Tada.
This is like the least important thing ever. No.

The routine of Combatants in the past, the present and the future, speaks otherwise.

Eating and Drinking is pretty important for combatants should we add that feature to Verdun?

But seriously this is an extremely niche idea that is of very limited to value to the game, especially when we have far more pressing issues. The developers don't have unlimited resources so this is not something that should be worked on or added.

Au contraire Madame. The developers primarily want to increase their income, monetary income. Therefore, they will obey the rule: sex sells! And what is more sexy on a man than a finely trimmed beard or mustache? Besides that, observing reality for more than 36 years now, my conclusion is, for 99% of so called humans, the look is far more important than details.

This won't lead to increased profits or even a rise in the playercounts.
