"Roll over" momentum
I think if the attacking team takes the enemy trench really quickly, they still have the momentum to keep attacking. it would reward decisive and quick victories.

perhaps players who spawn during roll-over could get less ammunition to emulate the difficulties in moving supplies.

That is a bad idea. While possible in real life, don't forget it is a game after all. You would lead the "rolled-over" team frustrated and quitting, which is rewarding for you in this very battle, but it hurts the player population and therefore you in the long term.
Also, if you can just roll over one trench, it is probable to repeat it with the next one, because you completely overwhelm the defenders who are not used to this and can't react fast enough. This would lead not only to the just mentioned problem, but also would end matches to fast and suck the tactival aspect in each attack out of the game.
Just to bring another idea in.

Currently we see matches having a lot bots, to end 4:4 or even worse.

This happens imo, because of bots spawning in huge numbers just overrunning the just capturing soldiers. Leading to the bots recapture.

The idea of roll over momentum could stop this.

BUT, would make the game much more complicated and

The Devs announced several times, they will not change anything anymore. Only bug fixes and optimization along with the Tannenberg merger.
