How about making massive realistic battles for 100 , 150, 200 players servers :) ????

128 player matches have been tried in the past and they've just resulted in an unholy amount of lag and the maps barely support 64 players let alone 128. No thank you.

some groups do have custom battles of more than 64 soldiers and i feel that all the maps could handle more than 64.

the first time more than 100 humans played a custom match the maps of aisne, artois, picardie, and flanders were used for the BEF event back in June of 2018. the event took about two hours but a nicely edited video with story by SovietDoge has been well received. link:

We have tried a bunch of different setups when it comes to the amount of players in a server. Also the 128, but it indeed resulted in performance issues, which were so severe that the dev team decided to stick with 64 on PC for the time being

bad.. there is game War of Rights and there are servers for 200 players with better graphic quality :)

Verdun is Unity, War of Rights is the CryEngine. It's like comparing dissimilar fruit. CryEngine had been working on handling large scale battles since Cry Wars. Verdun is an amazing game that runs on a less robust engine.
