I personally think they have done a remarkable job thus far, there have been issues, but what game doesn't have its issues. The reason I play this game is the war in which it is set in. I am, was, and will always be a history buff and my particular era of interest will always be the Great War. I commend the DEV's for the attention they have put into the details. The stories of the war resonate more with me than the combat therefore gameplay itself will always be a secondary feature for me. As I play this game I can see the stories unfold, I can hear the voices, and see the faces.
I've always felt a boots on the ground attachment to the great war, sometimes my writings lead friends to question whether I just knew what I was talking about or whether I was actually there.
As I said, gameplay is a mere side effect for me, this game tells a story...it can tell all the stories.
Everything is said. Some people love what it used to be an indie gem, promising and destroyed part by part.
They still like it and hope the devs to realize they did mistakes. These are Verdun players.
Rest is there because of WW1. They dont like the game itself, they like the era and supposed realism.
If a ww1 red orchestra is released, devs will see how much theses actual bootlikers like the game in reality, and how fast they gonna burn their ancient fetish.
Oh and Good Goy, those who are here for ww1 wont abandon the game just because Red Orchestra makes a ww1 mod. I enjoy both the game and the subject and many other like me do as well, it is executed well and unlike tripwire they don't abandon their projects.
Once again I say if you guys think the DEV's destroyed the game....go and dont let the door hit you on the way out!
Bon Voyage and may a meteorite fall through your lifeboat in shark infested waters
It would be great if you could provide further details on what you do not like and would like to see regarding the ladders. Now I am closing this thread before it steers away from the actual topic as we can continue on the bug report on the bug tracker.
