It was removed back in 2015.

Nope, there's like 90-95% controller support for the game and menus.

You have a voice command compass/wheel (can't remember the other name for it) but you'd have to use the keyboard for the in-game text chat and VoIP. Also, if you wanted to change the name of your squad yourself or if you're entering in info for a custom match password(s). (i.e. Create a private or open custom match.)
