Old computer! Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 and ASUS GTX 550 Ti DirectCU

Greetings,

I've got a pretty outdated computer and although I've been trying to stretch the life cycle out of my motherboard, I have reasons to fear that my computer wont be able to run Shadow of Mordor properly.

The computer is mainly composed of:

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E8500 (6M Cache, 3.16 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
GPU: ASUS GTX 550 Ti DirectCU (OC 1120 Mhz, GDDR5 1Gb)
RAM: Gskill DDR2-1066MHz PK 2x2GB
MB: Asus P5Q-VM
HDD: WD Scorpio Black 500GB (WDC WD5000BPKT-00PK4T0)

So? Will Shadow of Mordor run on my pc??

You will be able to run the game, but it is on a terrible bad framerate which will make you cry. You realy need to build a new pc

and i play in low...60 FPS


sooo...maybe in this game will be the same

I am able to play DR3 with medium setting at an aceptable framerate (around 30 fps I would say). For example, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, I was able to play with low settings and a playable framerate. Watch Dogs, on the other hand, I can play but due to lack of RAM, it freezes up ocasionally and the overall playability varies greatly. Let's hope for the best for Shadow of Mordor.... :)

Would Dual Asus GTX 550 Ti OC DU TOP on SLI do me any good??

lol please dont SLI two low end cards. you will still only have 1gb of vram so thats not going to help you run higher settings anyway. its always more logical to get a faster single card.

you just need to get a modern pc if you want to properly play all newer games. your pc is VERY low end and outdated by todays standards for demanding game.

I will never understand why people with crappy comps go out and pay 50 to 60 bucks for games. the money you would have saved by getting games when they are on sale would have saved you enough to buy a good pc every couple of years.
