New update won't work

Every time I try launching, right when I can see part of the launch picture, it instantly crashes. This keeps happening since the update earlier

Are you sending in the crash reports? I don't see anything that looks like it's from you.

When it happens, I don't get a popup to send a crash report. As the game opens windows tells me it's no longer responding and it closes. There was ONE time that I was able to get in and start playing but out of no where the game just closed and I did send a crash report for that.

Can you turn on logging (http://www.exatogames.com/forums/index.php?threads/how-to-enable-full-logging-in-guncraft.4343/) and email the log to [e-mail]?

It stopped happening, but if it starts happening again I will either make sure I submit the crash report or get a copy of the log file.

Alright, I'd recommend you turn logging off if you haven't already, it can cause your framerate to drop.

Good news~! I managed to get a log file of the error I have. The bad news is I don't know how to fix it so I shall wait to play again.

Sorry for a late reply. I have emailed it to him and he has responded with an idea to fix it, I'll try it soon

I just sent a crash report, the same thing is happening again. The game randomly closed and now when I try to open it doesn't respond. I added my name in the crash report too so you know which one it is

We may have a fix

Steam just released a beta update for steam which is supposed to fix our issues... well we hope. We know one is fixed but we need you to test the other.

You don't need to update the game just allow steam to use the beta release - this is how to use the steam beta release http://imgur.com/a/uiBVo

Then you can run the game from steam - let us know if its more stable

I've been in the beta, I just restarted Steam and it still won't open

Thanks... the crash you are seeing is the 2nd issue. Nobody in our office or at Valve is getting that crash so its harder to debug. The other crash was something everyone gets.

For now please keep running the non steam version while we regroup and try to work out how to fix this. (if you don't have a non steam version please email me and I'll make sure you have access)

I only have the Steam version, and I only have Kelby's email (from a previous post) I had my email in one of the bug reports in the optional thing and my username in the beginning of the report

Unless I'm able to log in somehow with the Steam version to the non-steam but I'm not sure
