bought rogue legacy 3 days ago, keep getting the error "rogue legacy has stopped working"

I'm trying to play rogue legacy but I get this error which says i need framework 4.0.30319, i installed framework 4.0 but it still doesnt work. I then used this guide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHqjTSI0TlY[1] , it fixed the framework error but now it just shows "rogue legacy has stopped working"

Did you install the updates for the Framework from Windows Update? (Including Optional updates)

Did you install the XNA Framework as well? The game requires two libraries to run, .NET and XNA.
