DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU LIKE THE MOUSE
unless you love both hands on the keyboard do not buy this game

you CAN NOT bind the mouse

this is literally a couple lines of code. the developers are ♥♥♥♥♥.

uninstalled, never played, will never ever buy anything on fluke from steam again since you can't get an instant refund like google play or IOS etc

Alternatively, buy it in case your mouse breaks and you need something to play until you can go buy a new mouse, lol.

I really want to know what would you like to do with the mouse in a 2D platformer game.
newman Jun 23, 2014 @ 12:50pm
There's really no need to play this with the mouse..
THE ONE TRUE MORTY Jun 23, 2014 @ 12:51pm
use it just like any other key on the damn keyboard

the mouse hook is simple code, any developer or team capable of making this game knows how to do it and it should definitely be a part of the game

there is no excuse... you can say "it doesn't matter" and other childish nonsense all day long but the fact is that there is no excuse not to have included it.
NABN00B Jun 23, 2014 @ 12:53pm
Using the mouse would only make the game harder since you need 1 hand to move and 1 hand to attack and cast spells or do special moves. You wouldn't be able to do that if you used a mouse (which only has 2 buttons + there's no aiming in the game) unless you had 3 hands so it would be useless anyway.

Not every platformer needs a mouse. Castlevania doesn't need it. Metroid doesn't need it. Freaking Mario doesn't need a mouse. Some games are designed to be played without a mouse, live with it.

unless like me you have a razer naga and only ever play games with the mouse, ever

If you only ever play with the mouse then find some website which hosts flashgames and forget about Steam and the whole game industry itself.

What if you're disabled and want to play, but you can only use a mouse..? You all aren't thinking outside of the box at all.

For example:

Are you insane, confused or a fanboy?
BUY A KEYBOARD. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU
DreiPixel Jun 23, 2014 @ 1:06pm
It would be new to me for a platformer to use a mouse.
its like you would try to play on Console with a keyboard and mouse.

There are a billion platformers where you use the mouse. Using right hand to activate and left hand to move is the STANDARD FOR PLATFORMERS. That this game intentionally tried to make you play backwards is INSANE AND STUPID.

1) you're perfectly capable of using an external solution to map the mouse buttons to do whatever you'd like
2) what kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-insane person tries to play an action platformer with a mouse, finds it unreasonable this isn't an included support option, and then runs to complain on the internet? Does it also bother you that it doesn't have sidewinder joystick support?

I swear, action-platformer devs just don't care about people that like to play platformers with flight controls. They need to get with it!

If as you have said I am insane and nobody else cares then you shouldn't care that this post exists. So you're either wrong or it doesn't matter to you. Pick one.
