PC and the DLC

Just wanted to say that I will have a guess as to when the DLC will be available to you once the first pass on the keyboard interface is up and y'all have beaten on it.

Then we'll be able to guess a full release date, and we'll be able to offer you the DLC either shortly thereafter or at the same time.

But I won't really know until the first pass at K&M is in, and all I'm hearing right now is that our new programmer is working exclusively on it, the designer's focus is coming back to it, and Zip (the programmer who has been working on PC since June) is back on it.

(I posted this last week, but for new friends: Zip had to work on the DLC last week - building in the bits that will make it work on the PC. This cost a couple days up front but will save literally weeks down the road.)

Sorry I can't give you hard dates, but if I did give you any, they'd be straight out of my ass and not reliable.

All of your teams' efforts are appreciated. I'm sure your whole team is working hard and you're all doing a good job. So far, I've had a lot of fun playing this game, and I think it's one of the best "zombie-pocolypse survival" type of games I've ever played. :) I look forward to seeing it further tweaked and optimized for the PC, and I also look forward to the DLC. Thanks for the update Sanya but tbh, as it stands right now, Undead better not rush with an official release, much less additional DLC.

Between the lack of optimization, graphical options, lack fov, muted sound on some configurations, lack of inpunt options (k&m), stuttering and graphical glitches, all this with 3 months to go and a two person team, it's unrealistic to expect a release this year.

You guys better take your sweet time fine tuning this one up, there is a damn fine game in there buried among all the problems it has.

thought about it too, but people have trouble reading/seeing stickies as well.
So either quoting and link dropping would have to be done regardless =/

im just wondering, but i see is says XBOX and that keyboard and mouse is not supported yet...so is this the PC version and is the keyboard/mouse supported? and is it multiplayer?

No, there is no multiplayer for this game. See the sticky a few below this one for more info titled 'Multiplayer/Persistent World'.

Yes, this is the early PC version of the surprise hit XBLA title on Xbox. PC support is in progress.

The initial Early Access is controller only for now, but will have Keyboard & mouse support in the month(s) to come. There is a programmer exclusively working on Keyboard support now.

Now, there IS some basic engine keyboard support that isn't officially from Undead Labs that you may use, many have figured out the controls for it. But know that it isn't ideal and may be funky and/or sluggish.

I know you can't give a hard date, but will the game be fully avaliable in it glory before Christmas? I as because I got 2 week off on that week and would love to spent all my time playing.

My estimated guess considering Zip, a new programmer and the designer are shifting focus back to the PC version is sometime in November.

I mean, they already got the new guy working exclusively on M&K :p

Glad to hear this, i hope you guys can keep up the great work and get this game optimized when you can, only thing that is stoping me from play this is the optimization but i understand you have lot more things you wana get done 1st. ( I have i7/8ram and 670 with SSD i feel my computer is working harder the it should to play this game but i understand its an early access game)
