Can't get past the episode selection screen

So I just bought this. And when I start it up you can select the episode you wanna start in right? Well, I can't get passed it. I don't know why or what. But when I type 1, 2 or 3. It just sits there doing nothing. The 4 for exit works so that is correct. I tryed to start it in Compatiable Mode but that didn't work either. So I don't know if anyone has tips to solve this?
