-SetFOV=80
in the box & click OK
You can of course use numbers other than 80 - try a few and see what suits your taste.
One reason it's not there is that some cabviews are designed around the limited field of view. If you crank up your FoV you can see that the roof is not solid etc.
Have never in 5,000+ hours of playing the game, driving hundreds of different loco types experienced such problems! So a bit confused by the above statement. I use my own FOV choice (in launch options), typically set at 85. Works a treat.
Yeah does not work for me anymore either
Go to Steam/Steamapps/common/railworks/dev/scripts/enginescript.lua. Open this up with Wordpad. Towards the bottom you'll see SetFOV (65). 65 is the default setting. Remove 65 and replace it with a higher number. Mine is 90. The higher the number the further away from the windscreen you are, the smaller the number, then you've got your nose on the screen. After changing the figure Windows will ask you if you want to save this. Click "Yes". Now go back to the game and you'll see the difference. Good Luck, but it's worked for me.
Cheers,
John
Worked like charm! Thank you.
