I had to moderate your post BST Zer0xXx. Please do not swear on the forums. Helps us to keep them a family friendly place for players of all ages.

Yay! A public beta is a good step forward, glad you are starting to use Steam's built-in beta support.

Good to see you're still updating the game regularly. However, these updates usually involve graphics rendering/the editor, whereas long time players like myself are still stuck with numerous scenarios which either don't load due to consist errors, exit due to AI derailments/collisions (or them simply going the wrong way), or which are impossible to complete. Mere annoyances, granted, but these have been allowed to persist over several versions of the game and intermittant updates. I thought I'd read there was a member of the team assigned to track these faults down and fix them, but even in the latest version there doesn't seem any sign of progress on this issue (as far as I checked). Brakes on the DTG BR103 still dont release completely, e.g., which makes succesfully completing the associated scenarios impossible.
And, again, apparently no progress on oft requested features, such as TrackIR support, configurable (keyboard) controls and multiple, selectable saves on standard scenarios.

Anyway, thanks for the update: it is appreciated. Just thought I'd point out some points which would improve the general appeal of the game, so one could recommend it to a friend who isn't totally into simulations.
I'd like to be positive about the news, somehow I am completely not. Longstanding issues aren't being worked on, as it seems, there's no news on it, except "we are working on it", the menu is still clumsy and not useable, leaderboards are the last thing I was worried about - evidently, you catering about the arcade component more, than about simulation one, which is not a big step forward.

To make matters worse, I somehow shun the combination "beta-testers" and "DTG". You always persist in saying that all your scenarios and DLCs are passing through the very strict control and yet they always come with bugs and inaccuracies, some of which are quite outstanding. I wish I could hope this will be different this time, but I'd prefer to wait now.

Improved Google Map Overlay performance? Is this the fix to the copy and paste of the API key that doesn't work in the mean time?

"The beta will be available through Steam and will run for seven days. You can enter or leave the beta at anytime."

Does this mean that after the seven days of the beta being installed is "DTG" going to release another roll back to revert all the beta users back to the standard current version or do we retain the beta version after the seven days is up if we stay with it?

Fix black screen issue on low graphic settings

the "black screen issue" I've had with the broken/retracted patch some weeks ago has happened due to "low graphic settings" ?

Is this "low graphic settings" ?

you must be kidding!

This morning we released fixes for a small number of DLC to update content listings so they appear in the new TS2015 menu system. The fix will update via Steam as per normal. You may need to restart Steam to force the download to start.

KwaZulu-Natal Corridor: Pietermaritzburg-Ladysmith
Western Lines of Scotland
Stevens Pass
Trains vs. Zombies
Colton & Northern
Norfolk Southern Dash8-40C

Are you sure you have released it ?

I didn't get the patch and I have 2 routes mentioned above :(
yes, I had restarted steam and ....oh well, maybe it's just me ...

Please do your homework with the patche(s)...
a possibility to have the TS2014 menu back would be an asset as well btw.

folks just a heads up,
Having worked as a beta tester on another product, there is no way in God's green earth to test every possible PC configuration. A public Beta is an outstanding way to include more setups in the testing. Cut DTG a break, at least they try, and answer your concerns, even if you don't like the answer.

I am glad DTG is working on minor stuff but it would be nice for people i.e. paying customers, to get more bang for the buck!

I would like to see some progress on REALLY old issues like this simulator that does not simulate real brake physics on long trains. A couple of people to bring old routes/rolling stock to upgraded standards ( I know DTG could only do DTG routes/ rolling stock ) as I have things from Railworks 2, I thing more people will invest money into items that are up to current TS standards, nobody wants to spend hard earned money on things that just too old to be enjoyable. ( I know I had to spend money twice on the Challenger DLC after DTG removed all the secnario's for IHH loco's, Me and everyone that owned it should have had a free upgrade. )

I don't think I've sufferend from any of the issues to be patched (I don't create or edit content which seems to be the problem area?) but I have a big problem requiring a patch - it is called the West Highland Line addon - the curve geometry it utterly attrocious and significantly detracts from the excellent scenery and enjoyable RETB feature. I do not want to simulate a toy train set with flat, simple curves - I want to simulate a real line with proper horizontal geometry and smoothly transitioned super elevation (like the real line). The route falls seriously short of current TS standard in this respect and is a massive shame. I can only hope an update will be engineered at some point to resolve the issue - I would even pay extra for it - but I doubt it will happen. This was mentioned in the now closed feedback thread but trackwork and the way it rides is a subject close to my heart and this DLC issue is a great shame when the standard was set a long time ago with TS2012. I can't work the editor to save my life to attempt to do any better, but I shouldn't have to.

As a TrackIR owner, built-in support would be nice. It makes all sims nicer.

Can't everyone be positive here. Yes, there are a few things that make it difficult. But when you make a game, where things are being added, edited, removed, re-added etc. you are going to run into issues. DTG try their hardest to bring us a more enjoyable rail experience. In my opinion, I believe they are doing real good. Some scenery issues on my end with the Cajon Pass and addons but thats ok. If everyone could cut DTG some slack so they can work on it and develop a bug-free game, which is impossible by all standards, then everyone will move to another game. Be patient. Every "Fix" done, adds a loophole somewhere else. Fixing it is harder than it sounds. "Change a line here, add one there" will not work. In order to do this, it must be uniform. Relax a bit, and it will be better for all of us.

By the way, I like TS2015 as it is. Not everything is perfect but it works. Stop forcing them to do what YOU want. Why? As what YOU want may cause issues with everyone else. Make a poll to see what everyone agrees on needing updating, then let DTG work on the top few things to rule them out. Slowly it will work. Patience please, they will get the job done. Don't like it, don't play the game

I received the above Patch yesterday, so don't know why you haven't received it.
I didn't get the patch either despite having some of the mentioned routes.
