(the base model used to be cheaper before it got relabeled as "Pro" add on).
Personally, I prefer bigger packages, even if that means they are slightly more expensive (on the other hand, things need to be in balance - I just hope, that this updated package will not clash with add on liveries bought separately, as I own the full package already, but since I got no update to my DB BR 420 fleet, this seems to be the case).
Hi Felix. I believe you can rest assured your existing BR420 marketplace livery purchases will be okay. I had just a single one of the extra liveries (the Munich Airport Line) and all that seems to have happened is that has been completely left alone in my game (same old installation time/date) and the other liveries simply added with yesterday's installation date. The folder/file location seems to be identical to the original locations, so no complications there. So hopefully all good! :)
I certainly agree with you, that I also prefer to see larger loco packages, with the various additionsl liveries already added. As many 3rd party developers already do, and as RSC also used to do. Sadly there is the feeling we're being a little short changed on this front; the older TS DLC loco packs often came with a wide range of different liveries plus significantly more scenarios (than the current default 3). I believe when one is paying £12 for a loco pack, quite a lot of money; then a few extra liveries and scenarios wouldn't go amiss. Obviously, if it's a signficantly more complicated model, then there would perhaps be the justification of charging a little more for such 'bonus' liveries to be included in the standard package. Whatever, on this occasion, a sincere thank you to DTG for their gifting the extra BR420 liveries, it's much appreciated.
