Critical steam bug (!): Mouse clicks in CS:S stopped working after latest steam client update

Mouse clicks in CS:S stopped working after latest update of the steam client (built 4 apr) for Ubuntu 12.10.

Meaning, you can't click menus nor play CS:S after the steam upgrade!

Yep. Same here. Ubuntu 12.10 was working fine before a steam client update.

btw. If I manage to log into a game thhe mouse spazes out. I can't look up or down and looking from side to side makes the mouse feel like it's set to 100000000000 sensitivity.

I tried to downgrade steam and steam-launcher to version 1.0.0.35 (the lastest is 1.0.0.36 of 12 mar), but still doesn't work...
