Wrongfully banned by SMAC: AutoTrigger Detection: BunnyHop help?

I was playing on a server and was using the space-bar to bunny hop. I'm not very good at bhopping but i was doing pretty good that time. I have been trying to improve my bhopping skills and focusing on pressing the space-bar at the right time so i wouldn't fail. Suddenly i got banned from the server for using some auto trigger hack or script. I was not using any program or hack so i was pretty surprised. I did not record the game so i have no real proof that i didn't hack so the admins refused to unban me. Do you guys know about other people that had this situation? Or where i can post to get solid info on that Smac program so i can figure out how this could happen?

I've been looking on the internet for some info about this and i gave up, i posted on the server site forums that i played on but they didn't believe me, they trust the program is flawless apparently.

For aimbot it's not perfect.

But when it detect a bhop script, it is not wrong.

Mazvert, i guess you use a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bhop script to spam your jumps. It wont vac ban you (because these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bhop script are never .exe program), but you will get banned on others servers by SMAC or server admin if they find out your script (Macrodox plugin is never wrong).

I wasn't using any scripts or hacks i only pressed the space-bar, it was going really well and i pressed it at the right time to bhop and i think i have never gotten that many well timed bhops ever. But it seems that nobody doubts the SMAC program so im done trying. The only reason i played this game was to play on that server so if i wont get unbanned then i can get a life again hahah

You didnt press the space bar, you hold the space bar, and it jump automatically because of your bhop script.

Any normal bhopper know it's not possible to bhop with space bar and get a decent speed.
You cant do a perfect jump with space bar (= jump directly when you touch the ground).
It's only possible with the Mousewheel binded to jump.

I do indeed bind my mousewheel to jump and even then I find bhopping incredibly hard to pull off, so I feel this guy is lying through his teeth to get some sort of sympathy or attention, however you have still neglected to explain how this "SMAC" is flawless in detecting bhop scripts. Could you perhaps explain it to a layman how the program detects it? You and your hostile exclamation that SMAC is simply "never wrong" is very unconvincing. Considering I have never heard of SMAC before, this fellow may have merit, and if he does I want to know because it'd be surely annoying if I got banned for mousewheel bunnyhopping because it thought the massive flood of jump commands from my mousewheel was a script briefly turned on and off...

Well to make it simple:
Jump with space bar = 1 scroll per jump
Jump with mousewheel = more scroll (~5-10).
Doing 5 scroll is like pressing the spacebar 5 time before landing on the ground. But you surely know it's not possible.
So with the mouseweel, it's easier to get a scroll at the same time you touch the ground, or few milliseconds later.

SMAC is Sourcemod Anti Cheat, the anti cheat developped by Sourcemod team (= those who made most of the plugins on every servers). It has many modules for different cheats (wallhack, aimbot, triggerbot,bhop script, autofire, sv_cheats violation and more).

A normal bhopper with an average of 5 scrolls cant be banned.

A scripter get about 20 scroll for every jumps, or some people get like 40 scrolls per jump.
Smac will detect it, and ban (or not, it depend of the server setting).

A hacker get always the same amount of scrolls.
Most of the time it's 1 scroll per jump. But with 1 scroll, it's not possible to jump again everytime you land on the ground. Those hacks are configured to jump at the moment you touch the ground, allowing you to get much more speed.


Tldr:
Smac = an anticheat
Player who use mousehweel = not banned
Player who script, or hack = can be banned (depend of smac setting, so it depend of the server).

this happened to me too, i switch from space to mw every now and then and i got banned from nexus servers.. so annoying, at least its not a vac or game ban

smac is only a plugin, we as a group have tested on a zombie server, 3 people were smac banned because they stood on a wall shooting down on 20 zombies heads at a time, so #86 a plugin can fail at any time, smac bans are falsely executed quite often, VAC bans are not false.

SMAC is an aimbot anticheat NOT a bhop anticheat. If you were playing on a server that is well known for bhop, then they probably have a beefy anticheat that was privately developed. If you had the server's sourcebans page or even the server's forums page then I'll take a look into it.
