That said, DoubleBear is currently hard at work on our second game and we're looking forward to showing that off soon, so keep an eye out for the announcement.
Just a word to say I finished the game two times, and I m still hoping for a dead state 2.. one day. This one was so good !
I'm checking on a regular basis, just in case !
the 3 friends I talked about the game loved it too.
So in effect, no just no, is me as well for alot of the dross that is released. however it can have its place if used sensibly.
Um ... I can answer that ...
Because the game was released in an unstable, unplayable, buggy state during the Xmas rush, in one of the most obvious cash-grabs in history. After that, the "polished" Dead State ReAnimated version was almost as bad and unstable as the original release, just with more buggy content.
I think that's reason enough for "No. Just No."
I don't think you're giving this game's history or the dev teams enough credit, on this point. I'll certainly agree with you the "everage" player might not be aware of this production, but it certainly has a cult following, and when it all went down, there was certainly a decent-sized community throwing BS flags, left and right.
Imo reanimated works pretty well and the game is ok to play through every now and again. However i dont really see too much reason to replay more than once. Game was fun though.
