Lighting effect glitch
The game seems to run very well on my system but anywhere there is a glowing lighting effect from a lamp, explosion, etc. the glow is a square shape with no gradiation.

Here is an image showing the problem.

I'm running Windows 7. DirectX is up to date. My graphics card is an old Nvidia GeForce 6800GS. Drivers are up to date and on default settings. When possible, driver setting give control to the application. No in-game graphic settings correct the problem. The game appers to be running perfectly in all other respects.

Whoa crazy. I made a note to look into this. Probably some sort of shader incompatibility?

Here is some more info that may or may not help.

In addition to Windows 7 (x64), have Windows XP Pro SP3 (x86) installed on this system. Under XP, Spelunky will not start at all. It displays an empty window frame and an alert entitled "FATAL ERROR" and reading "Error getting number of drivers". This error is reported elsewhere in this forum.

I have this same problem with an integrated crappy nvidia chip (7200 or so) I guess my PC sucks since many new games give me problems. :ccskull:

I have the same problem too, with a GeForce 7900 GS. Is there any solution to this?
