Where the cloud saving?!
I love the game but.... where is the cloud saving?! I use steam on 3 different computers and this kinda kills it for me. I dont really want to use dropbox to sync them all together! Hopefully they release it soon

just get your save file from the spelunky folder and move it around.

well.. 3 computers are at different locations... since steam had cloud saving for a long while now, it should be used on this game.

Yeah I was disappointed by that too. Seems that I will just have to live with Spelunky basically being my 'laptop game' oh well

There is a save file in the game's directory. Just send it to yourself by email when you know you'll be using another PC.

I understand about moving save files around but always having it handy and knowing when your always gonna play isnt feasable... also.. i dont like to have dropbox setup on all my computer syncing stuff. Im just sayin a game of this caliber (isnt like it flies under the radar) should have cloud saving! Also.. im a type of person that like to "refresh" my pc once or twice a year and hate the risk of making the mistake of losing my saves.

I totally agree with You DynamiteSJ. It would be really great to have saves in cloud. Sure - google drives or other methods of transfering saves from one computer to another is the way but it isn't comfortable solution at all...
regards and looking forward for that cloud saves:) I'm sure its a matter of time since many people are asking :)

I want to have cloud saves, too. I did not play Super Meat Boy because it did not have cloud saves and I lost my save. Don't want this to happen with Spelunky, too.

You can use Gamesave Manager to simplify the transfer, or to automate the transition of the save from dropbox and back (via the cloud linking feature or whatever it is called.). That said, it's an unnecessary hassle when Steam provides the architecture to the developer and they just have to enable it.

Yeah, I would like to see that feature too. Kinda sucks that I cannot play on my PC and laptop and have to export save file like in 90s. What if we accidentaly loose savegame? :spelunky:

I play on two PC's and don't even bother transferring my save. You only really lose characters/journal progress, all the leaderboards are online so it's not a massive deal to me.
Which one is the save file..? im facing the same problem, i dunno what to copy.

Yes, this is really mind-boggling when Steam uses it for such a long time.

+1 for steam cloud support. Thought I doubt it'll happen, it's been brought up a few times now and no answer from the devs. Oh well, like someone mentioned before, it's not like the game really NEEDS it

Wishing this had Steam Cloud right now. Will likely be jumping between the living room and laptop. Living room is a public computer, not about to set up dropbox.

Another vote for Steam Cloud.
