If you're determind to buy it on sale instead of full price, you may have to wait until the big annual holiday sales in December, as I imagine it'll almost certainly go on sale then.

If it'll go on sale any time between then and now, no one knows, except maybe Derek Yu, and developers tend to be pretty quiet about potential upcoming sales.

There's a high chance this game will go on sale during the holidays as with hundreds of other games on Steam like Radioactive said.. That's your best bet. Just check the new deals everyday until then and maybe you'll get lucky.

Either way, it's not that far off from December anyway.

If you're really desperate, you can always play the freeware version. It doesn't have any secret levels, unlockable characters, etc, but it is free, and doesn't require piracy, etc.
