Official System Requirements Announced

Hi everyone,

A lot of you guys have been commenting on our system requirements. Today, we have revealed our official system requirements, and as you'll notice, they're not as huge as they were previously. Those were used as placeholders and now they have are updated.

Why do you list the minimum as an i5-2500 and then list the i5-4670K as recommended?

There's barely a difference. Why would you recommend a NON-k CPU? Why recommend the K cpu? K doesn't automatically make it better.

At best there's a 14% or something difference in the two CPU's. You make it sound like having a i5-2500 is gonna only let you play at 40fps vs 60fps with a 4670k. There will probably not even be a 2fps difference.

And why the HELL does a company use PLACEHOLDER recommendations? Do you want to take a GUESS as to how many cancelled their preorders because of this humongous ♥♥♥♥♥♥?

Come on, be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reasonable, this is still stupid as ♥♥♥♥.

And what the HELL do you mean, laptop GPU's won't be supported?

So people with the new GTX 970M laptops are just going to have to live with bugs or whatever because you don't want to actually do anything for the money people are giving you?

Yeah, I'm not pleased.

Thankfully there's GTA V and Resident Evil in January. I don't want to play a game on low-medium settings when I have a computer more capable than a PS4.

"Working on it more" magically cuts ram requirements in half, removes DX10 support, and doesn't add laptop GPU support.

next time you are going to make a game dont use any low requirements as "placeholder" and dont mark them as placeholder. there was nothing about "this couldnt be final requirements" like other games have often.

now i preordered the game and it looks like i would be close under the minimium requirements, and due to german cencorship i preordered the game via a friend who gifted it to me, so no chance to cancel the preorder.

Where did you find this info? You do know the release date was brought forward to avoid competition with other games already?

I think its funny how many people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. My PC could have handled the none revised specs lmfao. If you're a PC gamer, and you think a game like this isn't going to be crazily taxing on your system then you might wanna go buy a console instead of having to upgrade your gpu every 6 months.
