Enable Oculus Rift Instructions
This can apparently be enabled by editing:

video.scr in \Documents\DyingLight\out\settings\

and removing the ! on the line:
!OculusEnabled() // enable support for Oculus

(or by adding a new line with simply OculusEnabled())

Can anyone with the game feed back on how playable it is please?

WOW I'd like to know if OR work in these game!
Devils Never Cry Jan 27, 2015 @ 2:20am
Right yes it works. But there is no headtracking at all. and fov is a bit narrow.

if you ever tryed skyrim with vorpX its like the same thing in the menu but it goes into the game fine and plays smooth looks lush as well still.

Ill try removing that line and adding the other one see if its better.

ok for some reason the file is being changed once i launch dying light. seems to revert itself back.

so now im thinking there may be a way to make it work with all the head tracking things as well if i can get the file to stop. changing itself back when i launch the game.

The two lines are the same. Removing the ignore character from the one line is the same as adding it again.

See here: http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2ttq5j/dying_light_oculus_config/

No one else mentions that there is no head tracking, so suspect that may be an issue your end: @DevilsMayCry

Seems that people are reporting Positional Head tracking not working, although regular 3DOF orientation should definitely work. I am very tempted to get this but may wait for the first patch to see if things smooth out

Looks like my camera is not working with the game maybe for some reason. i just tryed it in the demo and its working fine though strange.

I want this for my DK2 but from what I read the HUD is unreadable...which is bad for crafting and there's no head tracking. I'm happy i didn't pre-order. Hopefully OR support is addressed within the first few updates!

@DMC try deleting the video.scr and loading the game again, it should re-add the settings file. If not delete it and reverify the integrity of game cache.

i think it was the new driver i just tryed. i reverted back to my old one and its fine again. :D
