how do u pack the assets folder into a assets.bin file after edit?

hmmm anyone? it may be simple for others but i really do not know.
after i send the assets.bin to resource extractor, this assets folder pop up.
after i edited the game files, i do not know how to turn it back to assets.bin

You don't need to, just put the assets you modified in your campaign folder following their original path (for example, a modified knight_a.png should be in myscenario/actors/player) , then dragndrop the whole myscenario folder on the levelpacker.exe, take the resulting myscenario.hwm and put it in the hammerwatch/levels.

When you start the custom campaign, the game will replace the assets with yours.

hmm i still do not get it.
For example if i want to edit the main campaign knight_a.png
1) i took the assets.bin and run in on resource extractor and replaced it with the same file name png under actors/players

how do u get a scenerio/campaign folder from a hwm file? from the assets.bin extracted from the resource extractor?

trying hard to learn how to use the features..

You can change the assets in your own campaign, I am not sure you can modify the original campaign assets and recompile them...

It doesn't solve your problem, but if you want the dev made the level 2 source file available for download here: http://www.zfight.com/misc/files/hw/level_2.zip
