imo many submissions from 11-20 category are much better than that crocheted thing

i feel like the artists that participated in it this time werent all that into it. theres a few real good ones but most of them just look like a high schools art class.

How is that bust only in 6th??

I feel a bit cheated because of that, they simply ignored my entry. I mean I am glad that there are so many beginners having fun, but in the end, it should be judged by how good the illustration is.

As always physical media op, if you do digital just don't bother with these. Another thing is It looks like a lot of good art was just ignored. Looking at previous years I thought this is fair competition, guess not.

I agree. I also participated, but my work is objectively weak, because I draw very little. But I can't understand the grading parameters either. When yours and a couple of other good works, which are clearly stronger, do not get into the top 20 at all. Illustrative looks if you compare the 19th and 20th place - where the level of skill is colossally different.

Don't get me wrong, i didn't there was a good chance i'd be in top 3, but not in top 20 kinda hurts - Is it actually bad? I thought it was really good, especially the dragon skull and the ship that i did. I even thought maybe i could try and do it for a living somehow, damm.
