Twinned map+Elder guardian.

Does anyone know what happens if you do a twinned map that has an elder guardian in it? Does the elder come and kill the twinned boss or will it be a twinned guardian? Also, in either case, would you still get the twinned map check mark for completion? I just dont want to do this map and not get the challenge check mark, its too hard to find the high tier maps and they are damn expensive to trade for.

Iirc, the bosses get twinned, but as you don't kill them, it doesn't count for the challenges.
