dash attack
I just started playing and I'm using steroid jackson. Is his dash attack just tumbling around and then running into people. Doesn't seem that useful if so. Not really any different than punching someone.

The Dash-Attack deals damage to all enemies in the way. So it's a nice and effective way to weaken/get rid off hordes of enemies in a single line. I like to use it because the range is (in my case with the unicorn) pretty long. It is also a quick way to evade + you are making damage. The special power consumption isn't that big.

uh, do you mean just the running-dash or the dash-special-attack? I don't know if Jackson has a dash-special-attack...

I dont know. I just know there's a perk that says I can increase the range of his dash attacks. Does that mean the special attack where he kind of punches everyone while lunging forward?

I have tested Jackson for a stage now. I guess the Special-Dash-Attack of Jackson is the one you have described. The range isn't that wide but it deals good damage. It worked pretty good for me. And yes, I think the perk you can choose is for the described attack. The Special-Dash-Attack of the unicorn has a wider range in my opinion. (I already have increased it with perks)

Yeah, it's not bad. But I thought there was some attack that was based off the running animation you get by double tapping in either direction.

This is what I meant with "normal dash." The unicorn deals damage just by running through an enemy because of its hornet = normal dash. The special version deals much more damage.

Steroid's dash attack is the superman punch.
