I'm trying to make the automatic door from the wiki but the power won't connect to the pressure plates help

Its a tad tricky as to setting them up, but you will have to run the power generator to the plate, once connected, then you'll have to run the plate's other open end to the door. It may go without saying, but you have to press P to open up the power relay system.

ik but i can't wire the power to the plates theres no imput or output im using the sandard starter plates

Alright, I made one just to see. Don't use those, I'm guessing they're not fully programmed to be used just yet. Go to Triggers --- Single Block Switch. follow my above reply and all you will have to do is press "F" to interact with the switch to open and close Mechanical doors. Sorry, I should have checked them out to begin with, I just thought they would function identically, guess not.

For the record, I haven't tampered with the "Gates" section of the crafting, they may have something to do with functionality of the plates, not to sure, something to check out if you want to though.
