Missing Link - No Praxis kits at all?
I thought that you get like 8 to restart.

- You start with nothing after the interrogation, but there is a cabin on the ship that gives you 8-12 back for some basic upgrades

- You then earn a few here and there for completing mission / side quests as your progress through Missing Link + a few randomly scattered around the map if you can find them

- You get everything back 28+ when you leave the BellTower facility - there is a weapon dump on the docks

Ah-ha! This is something I've been looking for the answer to for a while (regarding getting the previous augs back with ammo and supplies). Every guide and walkthrough is fairly non-specific on that point. So thanks for clarifying.

Do they return as the augs they were or as the number of praxis kits used previously to be redistributed? Obviously the latter would be awesome; in my case it'd inevitably mean getting everything at the end of ML (I went a bit hacking happy early on). Even if it's the former, though, it still ought to work out well for most.

Also, in the New Game Plus mode, are you still reduced to starting level or does that game mode let you keep the augs in spite of the plot and discussion with Keitner?

Cheers, no worries :)

The Augs are returned (post-ML) in a dump of Praxis Kits to be redistributed as you see fit - and haha, yeah - i really missed them in ML as well as I too went a bit hacking happy early on and was pretty much untouchable upto that point.

(Note: Kits are on the docks - do not leave the Belltower facility without picking them up, or they are lost forever)

Re: New Game Plus - havent played through again so don't know - but i would assume you lose them as the interrogation / ship portion is pretty central to the playthrough - but i dont know tbh

Since my last post I finally managed to get through this bit and beat Burke. I think the hardest part after getting your kit back is deciding what to abandon and what to take with you, but having 29 Typhoon loads is just too damn tempting.

I know there are several endings so I figure I'll use a second play through to pursue them and find out. It'll give me extra motive to play all the way through in that mode.

Assuming it's not, all you really need to do is make sure you're a small amount of XP away from the next kit when setting the bomb on the docks, then get your hacking up to 4 early on. Hack everything on the boat you can (return to it later if you have to) and knock out almost everyone (I can't get pacifist because I tend to execute the spec. ops rapists). Hacking all the alarm panels helps as well. Also it stops them calling for help if you screw up. ;)

Anyway, after a play through in plus mode I'll report back here on what happens with that because I won't be the only one to ask.

Every augmentation is reset to zero in a New Game+ playthrough.

Indeed, as I discovered first hand a little while ago (yeah, I should've checked back here, I know). Assuming I play my way through it again the next test will be to see whether NG+ keeps adding to itself (i.e. every aug in a new game with a stupid number of spare praxis kits) or if it just sticks with the augs from the first time I finished it.
