I need a Docking tutorial video

I am looking for a docking video that explains in detail how to dock. I have yet to align to dock and the control are not precise enough. Currently all I am finding is 2 minute long useless videos.

I need one that will explain how to align up properly. As I can aim for the circle and ram the station in reverse quite easily but it never allows me to pull the lever to dock.

Drive headfirst to the dock. Get right infront of it. Stop. Turn 180 degrees, reverse.

easiest way to dock, drive up so you face the circle facing forward, spin 180 degrees, reverse

start a fair distance away with the docking pointed towards the station. use the docking camera and reverse towards it. assuming you play on PC with default settings you can think of the crosshair in the docking camera as what you are controlling and use WASD to hold it in the middle of the circle. you want the circle on the docking UI to line up with that of the docking port

Being as straight in front of docking port as possible, with it behind you, aim docking camera at dead center of docking port using the camera's crosshair.

Begin backing up, carefully.

Line the targeting circle on your docking cam up with the glowing circle on the docking port. When they match the locking lever unlocks.

Flip lever and you're docked.

I don't think they really explain this well in-game. I docked like 50 times before I realized the circles had any significance.

Use the green screen to your left when in the cockpit. That's what you need to align with the circle (the target) to be able to pull the lever.

To Dock: Aprox to target from front and when the target circle is light green, turn 180º and aim to target with REAR/DOCKING CAM (first option of left monitor), align the cross with center of circle and aproximate slowly, when distance is between 1 and 0 meters/feet, stop and pull dock lever

It took me about 30 minutes to dock but it did finally dock. I had to back off and approach about 4 times to get a lock.

What he said, it's very easy to dock even in precise mode.

Drive towards the dock, make sure you're centered on it if in precise mode and then do a 180 without going up or down, easy dock everytime, same principle with cargo.

if you're playing with easy docking then you don't need a tutorial.
