Dry off, then wait.
Or use potion.

Mechanically you need 3 components.

1 Empty Flask (left after using oil/potion/ets.)

1 herb (found on the over-world map) - type will determine the outcome, game will remember and will tell you result next time.

2 Phial of blood (1 if you are devoted to the Lady) - very rarely you can get them from dungeon loot, but most exploitable and easy way to get it - Gash skill from the Lady.
You use that skill in the melee and not only enemy suffers from strong dot - you also have a chance to get phial. Better your Perception stat, better your chance to get it.

Not all enemies can bleed, but infinite badgers and hedgehogs, that can appear almost everywhere can.

Incidentally this farming method also breaks economy, because blood phials are just generated from thin air, and sell well.

After you got all 3 of the components - you just use empty flask from your inventory, anywhere anytime.
I doesn't even take time - one time I brew water, while being on fire, and survived to tell the tale.

The default reaction to rot is just ignore it, all it does is reduce your attack damage.

Sleeping works too.
