Nothing Is Saving
I just tested this, and after playing through a ladder match, nothing saves. I don't get the ending or the stats from playing as the character. However my story and tower progression still saves. Anyone know of a solution?

Had the same problem now it's fine.
Enter the nekropolis through the krypt possible solution.

that thread got deleted. someone probably started raging in it or something.

Here was my solution for working around the save issue:

My setup: Keyboard, Logitch F510 gamepad (that I keep on x-input mode for x360 functionality), PS3 Mortal Kombat fightstick by PDP assigned keyboard (numpad) buttons using xpadder.

When I fire up the game and have the Logitech F510 gamepad and/or the fight stick plugged in, the game will not record fighter stats. When I go to nekropolis, I will see 0's for all fighter stats.

When I fire up the game and do not have the Logitech F510 gamepad or the fight stick plugged in, then fighter stats will record properly and I will see the stats in nekroplis (only stats recorded from loading the game with both of those not plugged in.

After I load the game with neither the gamepad or fight stick plugged in, I can plug in the fightstick. As long as I choose the keyboard to be my input device (that xpadder assigned to the fight stick buttons), fighter stats will record and nekropolis will show the recorded stats.

If at any point, I plug in and use my Logitech F510 gamepad, stats will not record and nekropolis will show 0s for every stat.

Now, this gets funny. Whatever controller you used to change gameplay options with for the first time is the only controller that can change them from now on. For me, I used my number pad side of the keyboard to set "Rounds to Win" to 1. Now any gameplay settings will save and persist if I use the number pad to change them. If I use arrows and the enter key to change options, they will not persist or save.

I have the same problem, except that all of my data progress is lost.

There is a workaround. Works for me and my cousin. After booting the game go to necropolis. Select any character, its stats should be erased. Return to main menu. Go for a walk or make yourself a tea. Affter about 5 minutes (It could be less) everything should work. Important. Don't do anyhing until stats are working. Don't play practice, ladder and so on, just wait in main menu.

Is this after the gamepad has been plugged in and you just sit at the main menu?

My gamepad is always plugged. So I start game with my gamepad plugged (X360 cotroller), go to necropolis, choose any character, go back to main menu, minimize the game, reading internet for a few minutes then maximize the game and look in necropolis for correct stats.

I left the game like that for more than an hour.
If you lose your progress then you can restore the previous version of your save file in the users menu. it cant be done after 4 days.

For reference (and cross posting wherever I see this problem) I had this problem and I solved it by:

1. Going to the directory: ...\237110\remote\user
2. Making backup copies of mk9gset and mk9pset
3. Deleting the originals
4. This should force Steam to replace them with Cloud save copies
5. Now options can be changed and progress saved. Yay. :imachamp:

Hope this helps anyone having the same problem.
