D3D Error, game cannot start
When I try to start the game I receive these two errors, thus not allowing me to play the game at all:

''D3D Error: Your monitor's aspect ratio of 16:9 is incompatible with this game.

Graphics card not supported: Your system does not have sufficient video memory to play this game. Please exit some applications and try again.''

I have a GeForce GTX 660M, which is definitely more than sufficient to play this game. Therefore I am not sure what the problem may be.

Did anyone encounter this specific problem as well?

Ye I even tried adjusting the resolution to all other possibilities, it just adjusts the error to saying ''4:3 (16:10) is incompatible with this game''. I downloaded the latest DirectX and GPU drivers last month too...

Getting the exact same problem - waiting for a fix

i fixed it already by changing the ''dedicated memory'' ine in the dx file that i found in another thread on this forum.. and then changing the file itself to read-only.. but it's still a bad port, i regret wasting full amount on this port when they don't even bother with support

Could you please link the thread which contains the dx file?
