Achievements not triggering at all

This has been an annoying issue with far too many games recently. But not a single achievement is triggering in this game for me. i have played well past the first half and... nothing. It's annoying as heck.

I just did a test, and achievements unlock fine on my side, what OS are you on?

Windows 10 Pro 21H2 built 19044.2130. Latest steam version. Steam Api V020. Game settings:

Driver: Opengl, vertical sync checked. All others by default.

If when you open the game the steam overlay opens to the bottom right, there's no reason why achievements are not unlocking, if it's not opening, there are issues with connectivity on your end.
