- Last primal bonfire you lit
- Undead crypt
- Dragon shrine
In Dragon Shrine he'll ask you a question. If you want to fight him, you'll have to answer yes, otherwise he'll just disappear and won't show up after Nashandra.
- The first time he didn't ask a question
- The socond time I said Yes
- The third time I said Yes
I beat the Throne Guardian+Watcher as well as Neshandra in one go and Aldia didn't show up... Am I supposed to have the DLC for this?
To top it off the game is forcing me to "Proceed to throne".......
In any case, does fighting and killing Aldia give you the "good" ending or the "bad" one (as I am not certain whether the normal ending is "good/bad")?
Rest of your info is good, but this is false, he will show up no matter how you answer the question as long as you have talked to him 3 times and havent killed nashandra yet.
I wanted to point that out because after managing to finally beat him on NG+2 I made the mistake of proceeding to the throne without realising that I had the other option (I expected to be prompted during the final cinematic...).
At least in Dark Souls 2, they highlighted both the exit and the throne, pointing out your options.
In Dark Souls 1, nothing hinted you at all that if you left the area you would get a different ending.
