Is it okay to use DS2 save file from nexus mod ?

Hello

I have a question regarding DS2 savefiles , i completed the game thrice last year and uninstalled it . I didnt take backup of my savefile thinking it supports cloud sync . On top of that i formatted my C drive to install fresh windows few months back . Last week i purchased season pass and found that there is no continue option . I dont want to go through the game again , i just want to play the DLC areas . I was thinking of downloading 100% save file from the internet and use it . Will i get ban if i do that ?

90% of that you will get soft ban same as one of my fried using some random save from the net

As long as you play it offline you will be fine.

So i tried running 100% save file in offline mode but i get an error everytime stating that " it cant load the save data . Press yes for new save file and NO to recheack " . How did you guys were able to detect another save file .
