Also what is with gaijin just making Abrams less and less survivable each patch, I remember you actually had to be cautious and make smart shots, but now you can shoot anywhere excluding the cheeks and just one shot it. I can't count how many times I got shot in my breach and my crew got knocked the hell out.
swedish and german tanks always been op in War Thunder, what this furry yapping about [/quote]
what I am doing is educating people about the way the game is currently. I never said that Germany and Sweden weren't overpowered, but at the same time I'm not going to say they are, because simply put they arn't. They are where the balance should be and all NATO tanks should be on their level, but most currently are below. The PLSS is (by many players) claimed to be overpowered, and the best "NATO" tank, when in reality the only thing it is, is the best match against the T series tanks in the game currently. The leopards and the PLSS are the only vehicles in the game that are comparable to the BVM etc. in the suitability, manoeuvrability and firepower levels by most players. speak to any player that mains a nation other than Germany, Sweden or Russia and they will tell you the same (usually) or that a tank outside of the nation they play is overpowered. The problem is that, there are vehicles in the game currently that are terrible, or rather they are clearly and obviously artificially nerfed so that the tanks that are clearly and obviously artificially buffed can be oppressive. Example of this is the TURMS-T. all the things it has that are better than other nations at the same BR. good rounds, commander thermals, great gunner thermals, great ERA and people constantly justify its position because it has a bad reverse speed and is used by players who wish to jump to the end of the TT without knowing what they are doing.
Most who says a vehicle is overpowered, specially on the NATO side in the game are usually the same people who haven't played that vehicle or have no real interest in it. To be clear, I love all tanks; I don't care what nation they belong to, I don't care who operates that vehicle, I like it because it is a tank or armoured vehicle. What I don't like, is the clear bias and un-balance in the game currently. If Gaijin claim that they want to keep politics out of things, and they proceed to politically buff or nerf a vehicle either using propaganda statistics or their own self interest, they are going against the very thing they ask the players not to do and are being political, and its been going on for a very, very long time. I don't want NATO tanks to be "over powered" and I don't want the Russian tanks to be "under powered" I want things to be balanced, which isn't the case currently and it is clear there is a dislike to specific nations in the game and a favouritism to others. If Russia are allowed effective and working ERA, why cant NATO nations?.. That is fair and balanced. saying "ha, my tank is better than your tank and you arn't allowed the things that will make it competitive" is the problem. yes, all tanks will have their advantages and disadvantages, but some tanks have all the advantages and none of the disadvantages. or disadvantages that are minuscule in the grand scheme of things.
Run along now.
The minimum reload to qualify IRL as a loader in an Abrams is 7 seconds, the started reload is longer than that.
