MSI Afterburner
So we can't run MSI afterburner to monitor PC temp with the new Anti cheat? I got kicked from a match by the anti cheat because I was using it...how has this not been whitelisted??

Monitoring software can trigger false positives and can find it's way into the path of the anti cheat's "patrols" for lack of a better description. Not sure if MSI Afterburner does/will always cause an issue but I know the game doesn't like GPU-Z, CPU-Z or WizTree and all of those are inspection and monitoring software. You can still use task manager, Adrenalin (AMD's version of Nvidia control panel) and software attached to your device from the seller like for dell, their alienware command center has monitoring that doesn't mess with any anti cheat software. It's inconvenient but there are work arounds if you need to quickly check your temps if you think things are getting toasty.
wat pretty sure i was able to run msi afterburner overlay recently after the battleye was enforced on steam

Yeah MSI Afterburner crashes the game after ~5mins. Doesn't matter if in game or hangar, always after the same amount of time.

It's not RTSS, because I tried without it and with MSI Afterburner only.

Don't know what u guyes are doing but my game runs fine even with MSI Afterburner running in the background because it manages my GPU fan control.

Hi guys, if you're experiencing issues with MSI Afterburner please make a report on our CBR: https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder

That way our QA team can check what's going on and see if it should be whitelisted or if it's a isolated technical problem, as some here have said it's working for them. Thank you.
It works for me.
I use MSI Afterburner. No crashes, no issues with the Anti-cheat. Could be a specific setting?

It could be yes which is why a report from someone encountering the issue would be greatly beneficial so that we can identify what's causing it.

or you know, he's using a modfied afterburner to inject cheats into war thunder. like they used to do with the steam overlay years ago.

Thanks Magazine2, It only seemed to happen the once and I cannot seem to be able to repeat the issue.

Afterburner was set to just standard default settings, as I was using it to watch my GPU and CPU temps as it is the middle of Summer here in Australia. If it happens again, I'll be sure to use the link you provided above to provide details.
