Cost of premium tanks is really dumb
Why should i buy a premium tank in this game that costs the same as a new AAA game, or maybe 2 indie titles? Gaijin. Maybe do quantity with you premium sales, and just shut down the Market.

Why should they shut down the market?
Because you don't like the price of premium vehicles in the Gaijin store, then no one else can use the marketplace?

They can set the price however they want, it's up to you to decide. The problem is in other things, for example, that your machine for a relatively high price can be devalued by BR transfers, decompression, etc. You buy a relatively expensive premium machine based on certain properties such as BR, etc. and it can easily happen to you that Gaijin changes its BR and suddenly it is of no use to you, or it no longer has the performance thanks to which you bought it. The same as matchmaking where you find out that 9 out of 10 games you are not on your BR or in uptier or full uptier. I think that if you buy a premium machine for such a high price, you should have something guaranteed. Not be left to random crazy matchmaking or possible decompression. I see that as a bigger problem than the price itself.

So you're proposing to introduce a Pay2Win (better game mechanics for premium vehicles) system.
That will go over well.
If you’re poor, just say that. The game is free dude.

it has nothing to do with poor.
Some people find it worth it to pay the price and some find it to expensive.

No, my point was towards balance. I understand that it's not easy because new machines are being developed and the BR system has to be adjusted accordingly, but as I mentioned, it's not entirely okay if you buy a premium tank for 60gjn and it could easily happen to you that in 2 weeks they move it to a higher BR, only your own plane, which will significantly nerf it, or they will ruin your line up like it happened to me when I bought a plane only because of a premium tank, so that it would fit in the BR system, which would ruin my line up, when I would not have bought that plane otherwise. BTW, the P2W system has been in the game for a long time, although we have to be objective, definitely not to a large extent like in other games, which is good. But for a long time now you have had machines in the game that are premium and have unique features that you don't have in the regular research tree, or you won't find these vehicles. Or they have more acceptable BR compared to regular tree vehicles, aircraft thanks to the fact that it is a premium machine. But I repeat, that is within acceptable limits and I personally have no problem with that. Just a note to your P2W.

Personally I think Gaijin has a big gap in research points and buying them. Premium machines could be cheaper if they focused on better research point mechanics for regular machines and clan machines.
Many times I didn't want to research a machine anymore and I was missing a little RP, e.g. like with the last J-17 plane. I was missing 3 research points, I would have easily given 50-100 GE to finish the research, but the game wanted 2500 GE. Of course I was not willing to give that. Just like with regular steep planes , tanks. Many times I would have no problem speeding up research for GE, but the game demands an absurd amount of things that almost no one can do. I think if Gaijin had worked on this mechanic better, can you imagine the number of players who would have no problem giving 50-100 GE for a quick high last few points? In tanks, planes, helicopters??? Personally, I think there would be a lot of them a lot and it would bring Gaijin a lot of GE purchases.
Theres nothing wrong with the market, rare vehicles are gunna be pricey. There is however a price issue for tanks that cost golden eagles.. as a canadian, paying over $100 for one tank is stupid as hell. Even on sale for half price its too much... buy a few and it adds up. And we dont even have reload animations for exposed crew.. just more overpriced vehicles get added instead of adding things that make the game more immersive/ better
I have gotten more playtime out of some of the premiums I have purchased than any ‘AAA’ title in the last few years

It’s really about what you get out of it… if you think about spending your disposable income as cost per hour, something like going to a movie where I am can cost upwards of twenty dollars for two hours or less. Ten dollars per hour is pretty terrible value compared to my tiger II H sla16 which I have gotten upwards of 400 matches in, which works out to only a few cents per hour

look at how many people GE boosted their f117s on day one, how many do the same with each new top tier vehicle that is released every single time, how many clickbaits, ka50s and other popular top tier premiums you see. Gaijin are selling a lot. Just because it is out of one persons price range doesn’t mean the price is wrong

Gaijin really aren’t new to this, they will have a whole department of accountants who’s job it is to think about pricing, if over the course of their more than ten years experience in this market they have decided the number of players buying at this price surpasses what extra purchases they would get by lowering it. I would assume they know better than random interwebs denizen #47562846284

People actually BUY premium tanks?
25.00 dollars for Bannerlord 2 right now.
Gaijins pricing is fairly predatory...but in way of comparison i present to you Star Citizen and any popular gatcha game.

If would have said the same thing 5 years ago. If, however, youve been paying attention to the world scene and not just gaming, its fair to say that supposed "experts" are wrong at least 50% of the time and depending on area of specialty, add another +/- 25. Then..there are some fields where the supposed experts are almost always wrong.

the prices are based on a 50% discount (50% discount is the real price).

So never buy anything that's not at least 50% off.

which doesn’t mean I trust a player saying ‘gaijin greedy’ any more than any other random joe.

Just because experts can be wrong doesn’t mean you should start measuring random people off the street as having opinions of even remotely similar weight. All things being relative the experts should still be listened to first

One party does this as a job, has actual sales figures, and by all outside appearances gaijin still sells an absolute ****load of premium content. The other side of this ‘argument’ is still just an average internet whiner

I don’t think any of us think gaijin are in any danger of running out of money so I’m content to just let them do their thing, OP doesn’t actually need to be able to afford a premium to enjoy the game
