War Thunder DLC's not working

Hi there,

Just recently, one of my friends gifted the Ace, Mustang and Dora advanced packs to me but they failed to install but even after I clicked on the browser version and it had been verified, it would not appear in my Library and when I clicked on the store page, it would only launch the game rather than installing the DLC. I was wondering if there is a fix to this.

Please note that I am a mac player

you don't need to install this DLC. When you login to war thunder via steam, it will notice you have content for the game that isn't claimed by any account. It will ask you if you want to attach such content to your current account, and when you autorise to do so you will have access to all of it immediatly.

When you launch the game after buying a steam pack, you should be able to see a popup in game asking you to activate the content.
At least that's what happened to me months ago.
Also make sure autologin is not active.

Maybe manual login worked. But it took two tries. Second time I hit "Steam Login" by mistake, but it worked. Also unchecked the installed boxes on the DLC tab. So I'm not sure what actually gave me the vehicles and premium account, the login or the check boxes.
