[eRekt] and [100]
What y'all think should happen to these people?
They absolutely ruin low level matches and chase new players away.

For those not aware all they do is:
1. Take a low BR undertiered plane
2. Fly to enemy spawn
3. Camp camp camp

Why should anyone be punished for playing the game as it is built ?

Because its pathetic and chases away new players.
Ask any player, 99% hates these people.

They should either do something about these squadrons or make some sort of spawn protection in air AB.

My friend you got it all wrong.
They dont chase away players.
They force players to pay money for better crewskills and planes..to be able to compete..

Gajin knows this and will ofcourse never change it..

Dont ever make the misstake and think Gajin do this so players can have fun...and compete against eachother on equal terms..

Mhhh good points, makes sense to me.
All the newbies then have to buy SL since they dont understand the economy.
It makes me sad that abusive players get a hand hold over their head by gaijin.

Makes me sad to my friend..but when i comes down to it ....its all about the money.
And Gajin is very good at making money with this game...
Its actually an oil rig pumping up oil all the time 24/7...its a wonderful idea money wise...

And another thing..there will never ever be spawn protection in arcade battles.
Its arcade.... its meant to break things all the time..So we can buy GE for repair bills..

Spawn protection will never happen...sadly enough.

Uh, no. It's a FtP game, so if it gets super frustrating and feels unfair a few hours in, most people are going to drop it rather than throw money at it. (Edit: I should add that of course some people will throw money at it, just that it isn't going to be the "average" reaction, especially considering Gaijin's prices.)

Now, once players have already invested time/money into it is a different story; then the sunk-cost fallacy comes into effect. Probably a big part in why so many people seem to have purchased the darn premium helicopters.

Nothing should happen, maybe they camp still but there is an easy solution, players might aswell learn it early. To keep an eye out for these squadrons, and dive in case they're around to force them low if they, or anyone else are there to spawn camp. Some tactics may be lame, waiting above spawn for kills but they're skilled players too. Better than me for sure.

Tactic must be boring tho...but whatever, if they're there i used to just dive, go for grounds and they wont get to you. Try that next time haupt.

I was once a new player and had this happen to me I raged a little.
still here though after almost 4000hrs of game play.
You got to understand their priority is to get kills and not get killed they play for ratio number above all else, spawn camping is the easiest way to do that and the kills they get are mostly newbie players that are sitting ducks.

The other thing is they a very capable pilots in any sort of dog fight, they just chose to play the easy safe kill route.

For newbies just dive away from the spawn this is the most effective way to neutralize spawn campers just leave them up there they will be forced to come down if all their targets dive away.

Its a mechanic of the game just learn to live with it and thats by diving away.
Gaijin should really do something about spawncamping, everybody other than the spawncampers themselves agrees that it probably shouldn't be allowed, yet the snail still has their head in the sand about it. They don't really seem to care about Air AB at all tbh, and that's why this stupid situation has been allowed to persist for years now.

Lots of other games have taken action against spawncamping, they recognise it as a fundamentally immoral, unsportsmanlike and negative way of playing, so they acted against it. War Thunder should do the same, it only drives players away. Then the [eRekt] people of this world will have to find another way to make themselves think they're good at the game.

gaijin has done a lot to prevent spawn camping.
for ground you get shown on the mini map where they are if they get too close.

for air RB the spawn protection i.e the airfield AAA is abused by some.
airfield AAA is a little hit or miss sometimes, it's either too good or just useless.

also what other games are you speaking about.
cause either they got no respawn since you only got 1 life or it's no different to how gaijin does it from the games I can think of.
in fact there is game modes in COD where you can spawn in front of an enemy with them behind you.

I'm talking primarily about air AB, where they've done next to nothing, if anything. The safe zones in spawn that were implemented for ground actually largely solved this issue (unless your team is losing very badly, but there's nothing that can be done to stop that). There isn't any anti-spawncamping mechanic in air AB at all. There definitely should be though, such as super accurate AA that easily shoots down any offending aircraft, and/or godmode planes that do the same.

Many games have at the very least, multiple spawn locations so that if one spot is being camped to hell, you can at least spawn in another one. Air AB doesn't even have this.

I know how to handle them, dive and then side climb away or go for grounds.
And even tell the newbies we are being spawn camped and they should dive.
But most often they wont listen and try to get to the spawncampers right away.

Also ofcourse some of them are skilled player.
But its still honorless to take only the best planes and spawncamp new players that are sitting ducks.
All i see them use is bf 109 f/g and j2m2 downtiered by 0.3.
I would get bored and feel pity for these other players if i did that.
Imagine the mental problems these people have deriving all their self worth from their k/d in this game.

Also this^.
In ground i see [100] sometimes but never [eRekt] how come you ask?
Because their lame and pathetic tactics dont work there.
Its only a problem in air arcade since there is no form of spawnprotection there.

air AB hmm yes. having no spawn protection was not fun. I believe that is what got me to play air RB.
edit:
though just diving after spawning usually did the trick the spawn campers just pick off anyone trying to climb to them.

I only find fun in bi-planes for air AB even then I don't play it that often.
now don't get me wrong I ain't there to seal club I just love turning on a dime and pulling 20G turns.
