How do i aim this
How do i am the jumbo. Its shot falls so short. How do i aim this thing when playing on maps like the big desert map? Is there like a certain amount of distance i must add from my range finder when shooting a enemy from far?

The 75mm isn’t going to help you much at that BR at long range. You need to get up close.

I recommend adding the distance to your target to your range finder in order to hit your target.
jumbos main advantage is its mobilty v armor. Try to either get on a flank, or in a hull down position where you can take a ranging shot (if not sure about the distance) and quickly back down to hide. Other than that, remember that the greater the distance the greater the miss. closer its ok to be a bit off, but a bit off at 1.4 km can result in a big miss.

You need to learn about velocity as all shells have a different velocity due to the gun and the ammunition. As you see the 75mm Jumbo does not have a very powerful gun for long ranges. You'll need to use your rangefinder to get an estimated range and then set your aim. You need to also realize that your shell effectiveness drops when trying to hit tanks at certain ranges. In general the 75mm Jumbo is best played in a medium to short range combat scenarios. You'll get the hang of it :) :racetrophy:

You seem to be having a problem with rangefinding, not the fact that the gun is bad at long ranges. Probably you are getting the ranges that exceed you maximum rangefinder capabilities and believe this is where the enemy is. If the game has the > symbol close to it, it means it's further than your rangefinder capabilities.

Did you buy the cobra king without playing a sherman before or something?
the american 75mm is a american licenced ww1 french gun so it lacks on the velocity department but makes it up in good post pen damage, the best recomendation is to get in positions where you can brawl with it, or use the range finder to do long range shots but its not really that recomended at that br unless you can nail the commander optics on some of the tanks like the tiger

Noramaly when i go face first into a enemy i get pen in my front plate dead on and die. Tigers somehow kill my most protected part not even the weak spot just dead on

where exactly do they shoot you and at what distance, because the front has a few spots that can be pen'd like sligthly above the transmision housing or the mg spot, the area below the drivers periscope is also a lot flater, killing tigers is either getting within 100m and shooting them in above the driver port or in the Cupola, otherwise break their barrel and flank while they repair, on the topic of the drop, try to aim a bit higher than you normally would

tigers gun is way better than yours dont fight frontally, flank and spank
The biggest thing I can tell you: Get a feel for the gun.

Next: Go to controls:groundbattle:Camera controls.

Look for "Mouse wheel (Ground vehicles)"
Set it to Sight Distance control.

Now when you use your mouse wheel you will be changing the gun sight's aim, Making it easier to hit targets if you know the range.

If you want help for that, Set the rangefinder up controls, It should be near the bottom.

Yeah the KwK88 w/stock pzgr39 can go thru there at most distances, like the above person said, avoid direct confrontation if you can
