Banned for inappropriate nickname?
Today I logged in and a message popped up, it says that I'm banned until I change my nickname to something else which is not free, the reason is "2.1. It is forbidden to create nicknames that contain words, phrases, abbreviations, or any other references relating to sexual abuse, cruelty, or vulgar sexual meaning". My nickname is YE66AH, not even 666 like I wanted, it wouldn't allow me to use it. I believe it's a mistake unless word "yeah" and 66 is really related to sexual abuse, cruelty or else

If you want a fast solution you'll just have to change your name I guess, customer service isnt going to be instant im afraid

For anyone wondering - this guy is russian speaker, native or not. You can see it in his recent posts and steam aliases. YE66AH is veiled russian word "уебан" which is semantically close to english "fu*ker". Maybe non-russian game master will help you, but its unlikely.

I've never been a part of a russian community in games. It's a ridiculous accusation and the nickname I've been using for years (YE666AH, YEAH666) holds has no hidden meaning, it's just YEAH with 666 in the middle

It doesn't matter if you've used it for years its still VERY similar looking to '"уебан = fu*ker" as pointed out so it's either deliberate OR one hell of a coincidence...:surefox: Btw he assumed you're Russian because of all your Russian game tags and posts made in Russian, perfectly fine assumption imo.
